GRAHAM Chronofighter Prodive Professional

| By Max E. Reddick | 1 min read |

Here’s another video for Monochrome own video channel, MonoTube. It’s a collection of cool watch videos, specially selected by our contributor Max. Sometimes you just don’t have the time (or mood) to read our elaborate reviews or long-reads on the history of special watches, but just want to watch some great watch videos. That’s why we started MonoTube for you.

Take an illustrious pilot watch like the Chronofighter, equipped with Graham’s signature chronograph trigger, and redesign it for the sea, and you get one versatile watch – the Chronofighter Prodive Professional.  The trigger system, which is designed for pilots, makes for a functional underwater chronograph, and the video shows its ease-of-use when wearing a full wet suit.  Beyond the modified Valjoux 7750 (calibre G1750) with mono-pusher, the Prodive has 600m (2000 feet) water resistance, easy grip uni-directional bezel, and a helium release built into the case.

Its styling is bold with a bright yellow color accent in the dial and strap, shark motif on the casebask, and the propeller inspired small seconds dial.  Graham has succeeded in making a bone fide dive watch with its own identity while retaining the Chronofighter DNA. Add the ease-of-use trigger system with a stylistic dive watch ready to perform at sea, and MI-6 might want to rethink its standard issue for agents.
